**CSI Color, Stories, Inspiration Case File 211**

Hi all,

Its time for another Case File at CSi- Color, Stories, Inspiration.  Its the time of the month when we get a sketch challenge along with the case file, so here it is, Major Case File 211.

And here is my layout.....

My evidence used from the case file was:

* Solid Background

* Stripes

* String

*Stack Something

* Wood

* Chipboard

My Testimony used from the case file was:

* Document about a pastime

Here are some close up's.... you know I have to show you those!

For my background I used Prima wax crayons with water and brushed over my white cardstock.

The die is from Kaisercraft. I did faux stitching around the yellow Patterned paper.

The horseshoes are a die I borrowed from my Mum, sorry I don't know the brand.

The chipboard I left bare.

The photos are backed with cardboard to lift them off of the page.

I 'stacked' my embellishments, chipboard, string and papers.

My pastime, my life, my dreams, once upon a time were horses, everything revolved around either my horses or the horses I worked with. Then the kids came along and life changed......

Case File 210 at CSI - Color, Stories, Inspiration

Hi all,

A new case file has opened at  CSI - Color, Stories, Inspiration. Here is my layout for Case File 210

Here is the Case File for investigation!

My evidence used:

Here are some close ups:

I did some stamping to create the trees in the background and used a die to add the deer.

I painted the hexagons with white and blue acrylic paint and drew around the edges with a black pen. The clouds are a die cut.

The photo is matted on a piece of cardboard with the top layer stripped of and then painted lightly on the top of the grooves with gesso to give a distressed look.

This is the view from the road at the end of my drive. This is the road I walk my dog down and love watching the change of the land with the change of the seasons.

Altered Mini Gift Caddy

Hey everyone!

I fancied a little change from Scrapbooking so decided to do an OTP ( Off the Page) project.

I have had this chipboard kit, Mini Gift Caddy, waiting to be put together from when  I purchased it from a Clare Charvill Workshop back in April. I was so inspired by her creations, I came home with several of Clare's Chipboard kits to alter. Her kits come under the her own branding 'My Creative Spirit' and can be found here; http://www.mycreativespirit.co.uk/

I made the Gift Tray with the instructions provided via a web link.  It was very easy to make. I used Clare's black tape that she uses to assemble it with. This also then gives a nice black finish to the edges. Any other edges left bare I ran a black ProMarker along to make them black.

The papers I used to cover it with were Graphic 45 Voyage Beneath the Sea.

I edged the papers with Distress Ink Pad Black Soot.

I used the Chipboard pieces from the Voyage Beneath the Sea Chipboard collection to embellish it.

I kept the inside all one style of paper

This is the back view.

This is the front view. I used some ribbons and sprays from my stash to decorate the chipboard tags. I thought the greens looked a bit like seaweed!

I inked around the edge of this chipboard on the front of the caddy and added the Prima orange flower centres.
