Give a gift..... ATC's.....

Hello again!

Today I'm sharing with you my ATC's created with the Card, Tags and More Kit from Tres Jolie Kits.

These were really fun to create with. There are loads of ATC/tags to alter in this kit, one for everyone in your family, perfect as little cute sentiment gifts just to let people know your thinking of them....

I have two sets to show you, a floral Shabby Chic set which incorporated flowers from the January Scrapbook Kit too and another set using just the Cards Tags and More kit, which is more striking to look at.

Lets have a look....

I used one of the large 'Classic Cards' Wooden ATC's for my background base and then used the 'Lovely Prints' set layered up over the top.

I used 3 of these, one I left as it was showing the print pattern and the other two I covered with some of the Art Paper.

The large background tag I added some Prima Graphite texture paste stencilling.

I used the 7gypsies adhesive doilies wrapped around the sides of the ATC.

I added some Tim Holtz tissue tape around the ATC too from my stash.

The embellishment clusters used the flowers and resin icons arranged over the ribbon I tied around the ATC.

The scrabble tiles were from my stash as were the druzzy stones.

I attached 2 of the Velvet Trinkets to dangle at the bottom of the tags.

The leaves were from the flowers sets in the Scrapbook Kit.

Now to show you the second set.... shabby chic ATC's

This set is using the small plain wooden ATC's which ive lightly brushed over with some gesso.

I used some small cut up pieces of the floral chipboard piece in the Scrapbook kit painted with gesso and built the flowers up over that.

In the background you can see the I have used a roughly torn oblong of Art Paper.

The ATC's were finished off with a decorative tile and Nuvo Crystal drops.

I used small wooden sentiment titles from my stash to personise them into sweet little messages to gift to dear ones and friends.

The last thing I did to them was to rub over some Prima Opal Magics to the edge of the flowers, wooden title words chippy and the tile.. this adds a little glimmer to the whole thing. This was from a previous kit.

The flowers are a mixture from the Scrapbook kit and the Card Tag and More kit.

Greetings Card Set 2 - Tres Jolie Kits

Hi all,

Today I'm sharing another set of cards created with the Cards Tags and More kit!

These cards are a little bit more modern and bold compared to the shabby chic set I made at the beginning of the month. I hope you like them!

Here is each card close up.

Here is a short process on how they were put together.

I started with the Card blank for my base.

Now for all the layers, each photo shows you each layer in order with the measurements.

Distress all edges

Layer and stick all pieces on the card base in order of size, largest to smallest.

Add a strip of gems down one side

And a group of flowers in the corner.

Lastly emboss the chipboard word greeting with black embossing powder and glue in place on the card.

Shabby Chic Greetings Cards...

Hello all,

This month I had the card kit from Tres Jolie Kits to play with.... I am not a regular card maker but I have to say I really enjoyed creating these!

I have made two sets of cards, the second I will show you later in the month.

The card kit features Prima Amelia Rose, beautiful papers, with embellishments from Prima, 49 & Market, Darice and Creative Embellishments.

Now I will show a step by step process for creating them.

Use the white blank cards from the Card kit...…

I chose 4 different patterned papers from the Amelia Rose paper pad.

I trimmed the first paper to fit the front of the card making it very slightly smaller then the card size.

Each paper layer after that I made lightly smaller then the previous to create the different layers.

I distressed all the edges and the final layer I tore into to really distress it!

Stick the first two layers onto the front of the card

And the third....

The fourth layer I wrapped the seam binding around it length ways and tied into a bow...….

….and then glue it on top of the other layers.

I wanted to create a decoupage effect with some fussy cutting from the papers. I cut four pieces of similar flower clusters from the floral paper.

With my starting point in place with my chosen main flower I then started adding my decoupage layers next to it, with the use of tiny small foam pads.
