Hey everyone!
Here we are again with the mid month challenge at CSI- color, stories, inspiration with case file #224.
Here is the case file
This was a fun challenge!
I used the 'Use an item in the Scene as inspiration' from the Testimony section and took the Cactus out of the picture for my layout. I collect Cacti. I used to have over 400 plants in my greenhouse and although I don't have that many anymore my greenhouse is still a glorious flush of colour in the spring/summer when they all bloom!
My Evidence used was:
* clouds/ rainbows
* cactus/ other plant
* triangles
* architecture
* enamel dots
* die cuts
My Testimony used was:
* Use an item in the scene as inspiration
* A mix of lettering
All 5 colours I the Scheme were used
The torn paper on the background is from Prima Princess collection. I used the A4 paper pad.
The BFS chipboard is covered with white embossing powder. I used splattered paint, mist and the Metallic accents on my background with the texture paste through a brick stencil and stamped with Kaisercraft 'Triangles' in Black soot.
The Cacti images were fussy cut from some pictures I printed off from Shutterstock.com from Pinterest.
Some of the cacti I popped up on foam pads to bring some of them 'forward' in the layout to create my cacti garden.
